What’s the difference between Mimeo Photos and Motif
Both Mimeo Photos and Motif are fantastic options for creating photo products as unique as you. In early 2023, Motif was acquired by Mimeo Photos to provide you with even more options to design and ship stunning, professional-quality keepsakes to friends, family, clients, and yourself – no matter which app you use.
The biggest differences between Mimeo Photos and Motif are the products available within each app, and the way that you create your projects. If you’re looking to create photo projects such as prints and wall decor, you can only design those with Mimeo Photos. If you’re interested in having AI curate your images and perfectly position faces within frames, you can do that with Motif.

Are Mimeo Photos & Motif available on the iOS or iPadOS App Store?
Yes! You can download both Mimeo Photos and Motif for iPhone and iPad in the App Store and Mac App Store
Do Mimeo Photos and Motif ship internationally?
Yes! Mimeo Photos and Motif both ship to 160+ countries worldwide through a sophisticated network of 10 facilities across the globe to service customers in any locale. We also support 14 currencies, enabling the majority of our customers to purchase in their local currency.
Do Mimeo Photos and Motif deliver to PO boxes?
Yes! Simply enter "PO Box" followed by your number into the Address 1 box during checkout. We also ship to military and diplomatic addresses, and support APO, DPO, and FPO destinations.
What image file formats are supported by Mimeo Photos and Motif?
Mimeo Photos and Motif support all image formats supported by Apple Photos. This includes JPG, PNG, HEIC, and most RAW formats.
There are some newer RAW formats, such as CR3 (Canon’s new RAW format) which are not widely supported yet. For these formats, we recommend converting the unsupported format to DNG RAW.
What happens after I place an order?
After you place an order, it will go through four stages – Order is Placed, Order in Progress, Preparing to Ship, and Shipped. During the Order is Placed stage, we’ll process your payment and send you an order confirmation email that includes your order number and estimated delivery date. In the Order in Progress stage, we are working on printing and processing your custom order. During the Preparing to Ship stage, your order is being packed and labeled for shipping. You’ll receive a tracking number, which will be active once your package is picked up from the carrier. Finally, in the Shipping stage, your package is on its way to you! After an order is shipped, you can use our Order Lookup Tool to check on the status of your order.
What is the Mimeo Photos and Motif cancellation policy?
To deliver your order as quickly as possible, we begin creating your products 30 minutes from the time an order is placed. As a courtesy to you, we allow you to cancel the order within 30 minutes with no penalty.
If you want to cancel an order, you may do so within 30 minutes after checkout by contacting customer support via the support chat widget located at support.mimeophotos.com.
What is the Mimeo Photos and Motif return policy?
We pride ourselves in the work we produce for our customers. If you'd like to return an item because its quality does not meet your expectations, our team is here to make it right!
If there is an issue with your product, please contact us via chat from either inside the Mimeo Photos extension or by visiting support.mimeophotos.com within 30 days to report your concerns. You have 30 days after receiving the product(s) to initiate a claim.
